Adfactors PR Lanka Pvt Ltd, the fully owned branch of India’s largest PR consultancy, offers a suite of communication services to Sri Lankan-based companies – both local and international. From advocacy and corporate reputation management to brand communications, healthcare and issues management, and financial and IPO communications, the Consultancy offers the full range of services to some of Sri Lanka’s leading conglomerates, healthcare institutions, technology, banks and financial institutions.

As a part of our growth plan, we are keen to engage and onboard talented professionals working in the local public relations and communications industry.

We are actively looking to hire an Account Manager to play an important role in servicing some of the leading local and international clients from the technology and corporate sectors.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Work closely with the Account Director in developing industry, sector and product-focused PR campaigns, along with the team, to create key communication messages across the traditional and digital platforms

2. Regularly develop various content types for clients including press releases, authored articles, feature articles, and digital content (LinkedIn posts, blogs, Facebook posts etc.)

3. Service multiple clients’ accounts and multiple projects, helping them to achieve the best PR outcomes

4. Helps clients navigate dynamic communications environment, relevant trends, and important influencers & proactively works towards managing their reputation

5. Actively build and nurture client relationships to build trust, confidence and client satisfaction while building a high level of client interaction

6. Builds relationships with all key journalists and influencers

7. Analysing PR coverage and providing reports to clients

8. Being involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals

9. Managing and mentoring junior members of the team

 

 

Desired skills and experience:

 

1. 3-5 years of experience in public relations/media relations/client servicing/corporate communications is mandatory

2. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or a related field is preferred

3. High levels of communication – both presentation, verbal and written skills

4. Previous experience in handling public relations for technology and corporate clients would be a significant advantage

5. Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation

6. Solid computer prowess (especially on Microsoft Office Suite) and project management skills.
