The Role

We are on the hunt for an Accountant to join the Informatics group Finance Department! Reporting to the Group Head of Finance & Strategy, this role is a pivotal role in the company’s Financial strategy planning and budgeting.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor all OPEX and CAPEX expenditures to ensure them according to the annual Budget
• Maintain Annual maintenance contract list to monitor for timely invoicing and to renew them on expiry
• Prepare weekly cash flows and ensure that the deficit is properly communicated with BU to collect the due invoices on time and bridge the gap accordingly
• Monitor budget vs actual and report significant deviation on an urgent basis to HOD
• To ensure account payable ratios are aligned with debtor collection ratios to reduce the cashflow deficit
• Prepare VAT
• Follow-up for timely debtors invoicing according to the sales pipeline and follow-up for debtor outstanding frequently to achieve them at the due date and to minimize the working capital requirement
• Prepare MIS accurately before the third working day of the month and exhibit it to the management
• Maintain FA register and monitor depreciation/amortization and update FA register timely
• Posting Monthly journal entries of salaries/Provisions/Differed revenue etc.
• Coordinate and obtain Seles funnel details from the BUs and collect other departments budget forecast details to -prepare annual Budget prior to FY end
• Stamp Duty/IT and other statutory returns on time and submit them before the deadlines
• Facilitate to conduct annual statutory audits and prepare all required documents for audit purpose and maintain proper statutory return and support documents filing system

What We Are Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent qualification from a reputed university
• 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity preferably in Software/ IT Integration Nature
• Part or Fully Qualified in CIMA/ CA or ACCA
• A team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
