Application Analyst, Opportunity At NTU Main Campus, Singapore.

An instrumental role in articulating the functional needs and translating into IT solutions that will support the overall University goals, the incumbent will work closely with the various departments within the University to analyse and define user requirements, recommend and evaluate appropriate end-to-end IT solutions; manage project and change implementation; as well as maintaining and supporting of the system implemented.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test and document all new or modified existing applications
• Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshoot e-Payment, Library and OHSE applications issues
• Works with stakeholders to gather business requirements analysis for the development and implementation of new applications and for enhancements to existing applications
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to organize project expectations
• Liaise closely with stakeholders and build good rapport
• Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, business process functions, and steps required to develop, improve, automate, or test information systems.
• Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by computer programs and business users.
• Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications. Updates existing documentation as changes and patches are implemented
• Work with various teams to design and architect the end-to-end application solutions

Requirements:

• A recognised polytechnic diploma/degree in IT
• Minimum 5 years of Information Technology experience with hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Experience in application development with knowledge of coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, C++)
• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
• Experience in developing e-Payment applications and knowledge of payment processes is highly recommended
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage the changing priorities
• Good communication skills with good command of English, both oral and written abilities
• Experience in Low-code development will be an added advantage
