Assistant Engineer – Managed Services Jobs at Dialog Axiata PLC in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

• Provide first line of support as necessary to Cloud customers
• Provide support to Hardware infrastructure implementation
• Maintain the documents, inventories, and digital libraries
• Provide support for customer cloud solutions implementations as needed.
• Provide remote pair of hand services.
• Maintain the system quality standards and security requirements
• Ensure provisioning request is in scope and proceed as per defined MOP (Method of procedure) for the solution
• Attend customer complaints and troubleshoot.
• Coordinate and follow-up on service tickets with Cloud, DC (Data Centre) Infra team and Managed Services backend teams within defined SLAs
• Maintain proper on time escalation procedures to ensure effective communication and get the customer queries/faults sorted within agreed SLAs.
• Provide on time management information related to provisioning and services desk operations as per defined report templates

• Diploma in the field of Engineering, IT or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized University/Institute
• Preferred 1+ year Network and Operations Service Support Center Management experience including managing people and process
• Knowledgeable of Customer Service, Telecommunications Industry, and Infrastructure Management best practices.
• Proficient with understanding and following standard operating procedures.
• Ability and desire to learn and take on additional responsibilities
• Must have effective written and verbal communications skills.
