Description

Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) Team is responsible for uptime, capacity and efficiency management of Dialog Data Centers and Critical Infrastructure. This essentially include the operations and maintenance facilitating both Internal and external customer requirements. Selected individual will work with Head of Data Center to assure infrastructure development for Dialog network.

  • Accountable for formulating, leading and project management of the Data Centre Infrastructure deployment, implementation and commissioning which includes Power, cooling, ELV, Fire and Building Services domains
  • Ensure to deliver best-in-class network infrastructure in terms of performance, availability, cost effectiveness with improved customer experience, leveraging on state-of-the-art technologies
  • Lead, spearhead, and extensive coordination with the team, principals, and external vendors to ensure facility capacity upgrades, downgrades, migration of core site infrastructure for network convergence and development project delivery
  • Responsible for low level design detailing coordination with experts at the initiation, shop drawings for construction and as-built drawings at the project completion with the relevant project closure documents
  • Guide and manage vendor adherence to relevant and related Data Centre standards and compliances
  • Budget and procurement coordination, Cost estimation, SOW/BOQ development, vendor evaluation, work performance monitoring, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and system treatments therein relate to all DCI development works
  • Timely analysis of available infrastructure capacities, technologies, risks and provide feedback to leadership for strategize needed move, add, changes (MAC)
  • Review, assemble reports and documentation for progress meetings and management reviews as applicable
  • Expected to support Operation & Maintenance (O&M), Service Assurance and Process improvement, Data Center services, digitalisation and governance
  • Coaching and development of the team for better perspective, process optimisation and team agility
Entry Requirements
  • A four-year BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University (accredited by relevant body of the relevant country)
  • Preferably a MBA Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized local or international university
  • Professional qualifications – Data Center design /operations qualifications are preferred
  • Technical expertise in – Power, cooling, ELV, Fire and Building Services – designing, implementation, certification, operations, energy optimisation, energy auditing and energy accounting
  • Project management, financial, Communicational skills, analytical skills, negotiation Skills, strategic planning skills
  • Minimum 6 years of Data Centre Engineering/Operations Experience
