Assistant Manager -Finance

MAS Legato is the provider of Financial & Accounting solutions to MAS Group. Currently we have 36 Business units of the MAS Group on boarded where tasks associated with Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable), Order to cash (Accounts Receivable) and Record to report (General Ledger) & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) are undertaken by a team of competent finance professionals. The company aspires to grow in new avenues with the expansion of our footprint within MAS & in to a fully functional BPO with a future ready and an innovative operation.

As an Assistant Manager- Finance you will be responsible to perform the following tasks to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the financial affairs of the SBU by developing financial strategies, providing strategic analysis, assisting the management in formulating business plans/budget and thereby facilitate the setting–up of the overall business direction of the organization.
  • Ensure that all financial recording processes are carried out as per established accounting standards, group accounting policies and statutory requirements to ensure availability of relevant financial information to facilitate business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant institutes including, Board of Directors, financial and regulatory authorities to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
  • Review the monthly financial statements including the income statement and the balance sheet to make sure that all financial records are in line.
  • Preparation and presentation of the annual budget to the Board, monitor budgetary variances and implement controls and Costing and adhering to transfer price compliances.
  • Ensure a smooth operation of the financial department with minimum disruptions, while overlooking and taking responsibility of the Financial & Management and make sure that all the statutory requirements/ tax compliances requirements are met and keep records on the same.
  • Periodic monitoring and review of the Balance Sheet to ensure maintenance of Balance sheet as per group accounting policies and managing of annual financial audit and timely completion.
  • Perform additional duties that commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Financial accounting, Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ICASL.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
