Assistant Manager Legal
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and executing Commercial Agreements with and without the supervision of Head of Legal as the case may be.
- Attending to Company Trademark registrations and Intellectual Property matters.
- Examination in title to land and attending to Notarial work.
- Attending to matters pertaining to Litigation.
- Attending to labour related matters.
- Liaising with external lawyers/instructing attorneys/law firms/notaries and completing tasks for the Company.
Requirements
- Should be an Attorney-at-Law with 4 – 6 years experience at a corporate set up.
- Should possess Notaries License to practice in English.
- Should be a Commissioner of Oaths.
- Having a L.L.B Degree or a Degree in relation to HR would be an added benefit.
- Should possess a good command of English and Sinhala, both oral and written and must be computer literate.
- Should be a person with high interpersonal skills, a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision and a team player.
