Assistant Manager/Manager (Web Producer)

The National University of Singapore is looking for a driven Web Producer under the Corporate Communications team. They will be responsible for reviewing and updating content across digital assets of the School: websites, e-newsletters, digital signage, and other online communications. They will also be required to manage internal web projects and be a custodian of the School brand, and maintain a consistent look and feel across all channels. This candidate should have a sound understanding of UI/UX standards and responsive design, so that we’re able to continually improve the best experience for our users.

Primary functions:

• Draft and update a shared calendar that maps the information featured on our School’s homepage and on the TV screens within the School. Additionally, upload the banner on the School’s homepage, as well as, transfer the static and video slides on a weekly basis via Monster public display system
• Review, monitor and update content across digital communications assets of the School
• Coordinate with various offices and stakeholders within the School to improve the digital experience in terms of content and layout
• Assist in proofreading/editing content and making changes
• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and managing web projects
• Convert design mock-ups to HTML
• Offer expertise in using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, OpenText CMS, and SharePoint, and troubleshooting CMS issues
• Verify and test the website and other digital collaterals prior to submission
• Liaison with outside agencies and vendors, if necessary
• Provide administrative support, where necessary

Secondary functions:

• Support design creation for websites and other marketing collateral such as EDMs, posters and brochures      etc.
• Work with brand guidelines to deliver positive user experience across our digital properties
• Ensure consistent branding throughout all creative assets
• Create and manage templates and style guides
• Maintain a digital assets repository


• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
• User-focused with a strong understanding of typography, colour, and layout
• Highly creative and able to think outside the box
• Excellent working knowledge of XHTML, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap framework
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• A team player who is able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, well organized and detail oriented
• Experience with UI/UX
• Working knowledge of using CMS systems
• Working Knowledge in Javascript is a bonus
