The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), which is under the College of Engineering, aspires to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. Currently, it has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, and is rapidly expanding its range of educational and research activities. Its faculty has led major university-wide strategic research thrusts in space creation, water research and sustainable built environment. Going forward, CEE is addressing critical problems in urban systems such as building structures and energy systems, sustainability of urban cities, and resiliency to natural and unnatural risks.

To fuel further development, we invite applications for Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) / Associate Professor (Non-Tenure, Practice-Track) / Professor (Non-Tenure, Practice-Track) position in the following areas of Construction Management.

Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Management for practice track or a PhD degree in Civil or Construction Management for tenure track. Suitable candidates must demonstrate strong and relevant research and teaching ability for tenure track and excellent teaching ability, communication skills and relevant industrial experience for practice track. In addition, strong interdisciplinary expertise is required in some of the research areas such as construction automation, building information modelling, construction digitalization, lean construction, built environment sustainability, systems modelling and risk management. Potential teaching areas include computing, Civil engineering management, engineering economics and project evaluation, information technology in Civil engineering and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA).
