Business Development Manager – Expansions and E-commerce
THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE…
- You’ll drive end-to-end management of e-commerce businesses and manage the existing businesses within all locations where Nutrition Business exists and plans to expand globally.
- You will develop Business Strategies to deploy Plus Nutrition (Hi-Sci) with Expert Marketing in the Key Markets and build the Brands
- You’ll manage channel partners/distributors from aligning targets, setting key brand initiatives, and following through to ensure successful execution by the e-commerce channel partners.
- You will identify new partners and collaborate with the existing partners to seed the Nutrition Portfolio in UI Geographies
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting
- Leading, mapping, and developing business opportunities in through eShopper data and insight, eMarketplace dynamics, Big Data and shopper analytics
- Leading, identifying the need state in UI Geographies for Plus Nutrition and deploy Expert Marketing to build salience for the brand
- Screening potential businesses through market analysis, deal requirements, potential and financial analysis
Brand Building
- Identify and launch SKUs from global UI basket in eMarketplace periodically
- Developing and managing business plans internally and externally to craft end-to-end launch plans, driving route-to-market for new product distribution (NPD)
- Collaborate with distributor teams for complete and timely listing of key innovations and online promotional activities to drive sales velocity
Tracking and Monitoring Performance
- Tracking and managing of key business metrics, budgets and KPIs across marketing and trade activities
- Analysing trends and opportunities to optimize and grow the business efficiently
- Track PO statuses and ensure timely, accurate accrual of trading terms
- Report in-market activities and competitor data and share insights from such
Stakeholder Management
- Lead and align cross functional teams to effectively manage projects
- Collaborate with local OpCo for synergies
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 – 12 years’ experience in Customer Development in FMCG industry
- Experience with Trade Marketing, Managed trade promotions and brand launches
- Experience with managing Distributors end to end in markets
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Passionate about Innovations and Creativity, Performance Delivery, Hands on Approach and Teamwork
- Strong understanding of Finance P&L of brands and customers
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment both F2F and virtually
- Ability to respond to multiple key market specific characteristics and influence change remotely
- Drive to work independently and skill to lead diverse teams
- Fluent in English
- Apt in Communication, pitching to prospective partners, Powerpoint skills
