Chef – Assistant Manager
Job Description
• Execute timely and successful launch of New Products in Sri Lanka
• Make JOB AID, SOP, portion chart and shelf-life study chart for new products
• Support Marketing team in conducting consumer research of new ideas / concepts
• Support SCM and Marketing team with tentative FC working of new products
• Support marketing team in products shoots of new product launches
• Support training team in training of training ACE and restaurant Managers
• Develop new products with business partners like culinary sauce, pizza topping and other items required in launch of new products
• Support Supply Chain team in developing alternate supplier for critical food items and in developing local business partners for imported food items
• Creative food idea generation suitable to system followed by leading the feasibility of it
• Maintaining a good relationship with business partners and other key department intra company
• To travel to production houses for the development
Candidate Profile
• Should have completed Hotel Management with certificate courses in food safety / food technology/ quality management
• Minimum five years of experience in kitchen or food development in QSR / Hotel / Bakery / industry
• Should be open to learn the new processes for development
• Good Knowledge in MS office applications
