3 Challenges New Managers Face and How Training Can Help


  • Designing and implementing the payment products and merchant business strategic road map
  • Creating the value proposition for Payments on the genie FinTech hub and the e-commerce payment proposition for the B2C segments
  • Micro segmenting merchants and value propositions based on segments including product offers from Dialog Finance and telco services from Dialog
  • Understand the market opportunities and value triggers with customers and merchants to drive payment strategy
  • Creating and taking to market all payment products including payment wallet, debit & credit cards, tokenization, recurring payments etc
  • Business volume and P& L accountability for all payment products launched under the Dialog Group Fintech B2C and B2B propositions.
  • Business volumes and P&L accountability for the merchant acquiring business including value added pro
  • Capture market share on online payments through genie wallet
  • Ensure wide online and OTC acceptance of Genie payments across the country and work closely with the Strategic Merchant acquiring team to penetrate payment acceptance
  • Managing the product pricing, cost management, volume mix and growth towards higher revenue products and effective marketing budget management
  • Driving customer engagement on payment products through micro segmented programs using analytics and customer behaviour, merchant promotions and brand engagement
  • Driving benchmark customer experiences on all payment product engagements
  • Closely monitor, identify key issues/challenges and recommend strategic initiatives and corrective actions to improve payment product performance on all B2C / B2B platforms
  • Work closely with all stakeholders in Marketing. IT, Fraud management, payment operations, Merchant Acquisition, Risk and Compliance to ensure payment business objectives are met
  • Work closely with card association and acquiring banks and card issuers to enhance product portfolio
  • Ensure all processes deliver fair Outcomes for customers/merchants and are fully compliant with operational, credit, card association rules and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure Security and risk guidelines are identified and managed and ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
  • Provide meaningful insights in formulation of strategies for acquiring new partners that meet business requirements/plans and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure end to end monitoring is available for Genie platforms to ensure scalability and stability
  • Ensuring all systems is maintained and adhered Assisting in formulating documents, proposals, other source documents


Entry Requirements;
  • BSc degree in Business Management /Marketing / Accountancy and full qualification in CIMA, holding MBA would be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, strong analytical skills and decision making capabilities
  • Minimum of 8 years experience preferably in E- Commerce, Card acquiring business Payments services or Banking
