We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) team in the role of Client Implementation Manager.



In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for managing Client Implementation/Technical Integration/Solution delivery of Cash Management solutions (including Payments, Liquidity and Collections)
• Understand the client’s business and act as a consultant to client during the implementation
• Manages the technical strategy and approach of all GLCM technical solutions including complex integration needs of clients. Understand client’s business processes and requirements to formulate sound transition plan to accelerate revenue growth.
• Provide consultation to GLCM Sales Team and participate in the GLCM deal team to secure mandates
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
• Contribute to the management and development of the Client Implementation function both in Sri Lanka and the Asia Pacific region and assist to build up GLCM Client Implementation as a cohesive functional unit
• Ensures highest level of customer satisfaction and best-in-class solutions of the Bank are delivered while actively seeking to maximize return from domestic, regional and global cash management implementations and at the same time safeguarding the client interests when driving the onboarding strategy of GLCM clients.
• Provide assessment of existing and new products and identify current and future product/system development needs



To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in a corporate banking environment or transactional banking environment is preferred
• Strong analytical skills, communication skills, decision-making skills, lateral thinking skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills
• Extensive exposure in Project Management
• Experience of working in an International Global Banking environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines at different levels within the organization
• Ability to understand a customers business processes and electronic banking solutions
• Experience of working in an International Global Banking environment
• Broad based knowledge of HSBC Group companies
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, related field or equivalent work experience.
