Job Description

• Design, develop and maintain optimized solutions that meet reporting or processimprovement needs.

• Design and own processes that are customer centric and will improve theoperational efficiency.

• Identify high impact business problems and collect requirements for solution development.

• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs and tools that support processes.

• Develop optimized scripts and visualizations that are fast and easy to comprehend.

• Adopt existing best practices or contribute to improving them; solution design, development, validation and documentation practices.

• Work on ad hoc and urgent requests on a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from relevant field

• A good understanding of database architecture and querying using SQL/HiveQL, with a minimum 4 year’s post-university experience.

• A proven track record of leading a team would be a plus

• Programming experience using any language such as Python, Java etc.

• Enthusiasm for innovation with a proven track record of researching and identifying optimum tools and methods for solving complex data problems.

• Ability to quickly understand business requirements and transform them into data models.

• Previous financial experience is a plus.
