DevOps Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline operations and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
• Enhance system performance by identifying and implementing improvements.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and systems.
• Ensure critical systems security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience (except internships and trainee)
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud), including experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Proficient in implementing CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of network fundamentals, security, storage concepts, and APIs.
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud are highly advantageous.
• Experience in a microservices architecture environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Relevant experience in DevOps, IT, or software development is a plus.
