Finance Executive – Revenue Collection
About the job
We are in the industries of education, retail and real estate providing retailing design and innovation lead ideas,
services and products. Our operations stretch from design education, design consultancy, designer product
creation and retail to infrastructure development, promotion and facilitation of creative innovation among
diverse groups across industries.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Recording and filing cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Invoice processing and filing.
Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
Bank reconciliation.
Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Skills:
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
Analytical thinker and problem solver.
Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
Extremely organized in a manner that is easily read by others.
Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
Looking for:
A candidate between 20 – 35 years
Successful completion of O/L’s, A/Ls & a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
2-3 years of experience in a similar role is an added advantage
Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Analytical approach to work
Strong attention to detail and an investigating nature
Sound technical and IT skills
