A Day in the Life

The Frontend Developer (React) will develop user-facing apps using React, JS, HTML, CSS. You will play key roles in managing our technical platform, fixing bugs, and building new features.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to translate designs into functional and high-performance code. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, the candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

On a regular basis you will perform many of the following:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with the design team to turn wireframes into visually appealing and responsive pages.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Ensure compatibility with multiple browsers and devices.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

About You

We are seeking a talented and motivated frontend developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining user-facing web applications and components, and have strong skills in front-end tech, debugging, and communication.

On day one we’ll expect you to have the following capabilities:

• Strong experience in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Knowledge of modern front-end development practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

This position is currently full-time work from home, ideally based in Sri Lanka.

Working hours: the successful applicant will keep hours that overlap at least 5 hours with the Australian work day. We work on Sydney time (GMT+11) from 8:30am-4:30pm.
