General Manager/Director, Vacancies at Silverstock Limited, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Silverstock Ltd is Sri Lanka’s largest Tyre Investment Group with direct involvement in manufacturing, imports, wholesale and retail sales. We seek a dynamic professional Director/General Manager who will have overall responsibility for the following:

• Overall management of accounts, MIS systems, cash flow and treasury
• Handling commercial matters, liaising with Banks, negotiating Bank facilities, opening and clearing local and import Letters of Credit
• Handling logistics, warehousing, transport and cost management
• Ensuring compliance on statutory payments including insurance and VAT/Tax payments
• Overall responsibility for office maintenance and security
• Managing people-related activities such as recruitment, compensation, and adherence to policies
• Liaising with company lawyers/legal consultants and company secretaries
• Handling Colombo Stock Exchange compliances and responsibilities
• Handling matters related to company/AGMs and shareholders
• Managing fixed assets including lands, buildings and vehicles
• General accountability and adherence to matters coming under the purview of a General Manager of a Company a listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange and its Subsidiary/Group Companies
