Key purpose of the Job

As Graduate Trainee – Process Improvement, you will be reporting to the Manager – Washing Operations of the Brandix casualwear washing plant. You will be responsible to assist in implementing and driving the Lean concept effectively at the plant to achieve operational excellence. You will also be required to coordinate with the plant management, as well as be responsible for Lean implementation ownership at the plant. You will support the company’s future plans, and help drive the Brandix values and culture across to all its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with internal teams in leading the Lean team in delivery whilst directly working with facilitation process experts
  • Assuring Ideal Factory Supportive Departments model making and replicating same
  • Implementing and driving a sustainable change through standardized processes, learning and culture, whilst directly contributing to profitability through productivity improvement as your end deliverable
  • Ensuring project completion as per given timelines
  • Engaging Data analytics and finding a root cause for problematic issues

Education

A Degree or professional qualification in a related discipline

Experience

Previous internship experience will be an added advantage
Ability to carry on an unblemished performance and value track record
Understanding of the apparel manufacturing process and possessing Lean based experience/qualifications would be an added advantage
Knowledge of supportive departments (Logistic/Quality/Production)
Required Very good Excel knowledge
Presentation skill is added advantage
Very good sound knowledge of statistics
