Key purpose of the Job

As Intern – Fabric Technology, you will report to the Manager – Fabric Technology. You will ensure that all raw materials developed and sourced by the SBU are to be first time right as per the quality requirements/standards of each assigned customer. You will work on mill evaluations, risk assessments and pre-production meetings with technical validation to align and onboard suppliers for Brandix processes, while ensuring supplier alignment and compliance for customer-focused quality standards and CP. You will also drive lab dips and bulk submission approval mechanisms on time and sustain back-end manufacturing operations smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Identify raw material sources regionally and globally and validate their capability and reliability for Brandix and its Supply Chain strategies
2.Ensure that raw material submissions received from source are in line with customer specifications and maintain seamless communication for any justification or change required from the customer
3.Ensure color management, meeting of supplier deadlines and following up on delays
4.Formulate good relationships with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders

Education

Undergraduate in Textile or Clothing Technology or Materials Management or any other relevant stream.

Experience

Possess good knowledge of fabrics and the Textile network in the industry
