Intern, Technology Finance Business Partnering

Job Role
The selected candidate will support the Technology Finance Business Partnering team in MI preparation, assist with ad-hoc information requests and analysis, prepare monthly MI for Technology Organization including detailed reports, dashboard and presentations. Candidate will also support in running the intercompany cost allocations and recharge model and provide further analysis on cost drivers and allocation details on request. The candidate will be provided with the opportunity to get involved in critical finance activities including performance reporting, forecasting and etc.
Job Description
- Support the preparation of monthly performance reports and dashboards, check the same for accuracy and investigate reasons for any variances.
- Assist the Finance Partnering team with monthly forecasting process
- Support the preparation of monthly MBR or TLT pack for the leadership team
- Preparation of the monthly intercompany cost allocation model and support Finance Business Partners to understand the cost drivers and reasons for any major variances
- Support the finance partnering team with any project work or ad-hoc analysis
- Use systems like Oracle, Smart view for excel add-on and Pyramid and Power BI for reporting
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Pursuing a relevant degree or a finance professional qualification
- Possess the curiosity and ability to learn in a dynamic work environment
- Basic understanding of financial and management accounting principles
- Ability to produce reports/MI with a fast turnaround time
- Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Basic experience in using MS Excel/MS word and MS PowerPoint
