Key purpose of the Job

As Intern – Garment Technologist, you will be reporting to the  Senior Garment Technologist / Garment Technologist. The Garment Technologist is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support for the assigned products/styles. This includes understanding customer requirements, coordinating development risk assessments, consumption costing, pattern development, coordination for sample development/fit sessions, obtaining sample approvals and supporting the handover of developed styles to Production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand customer requirements and assist to garment technologist for coordinate pre-sample development requirements, including risk assessment, consumption costing and validation processes
2. Working with garment technologist for coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for achievement of the sample development OTD and customer satisfaction objectives
3. Collaborate with relevant internal teams and assist to garment technologist for effective Production handover of developed styles

Education

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology. in Mathematics/ Clothing Technology

Experience

Ability to read and interpret customer requirements and specifications in English with a good command of spoken English.
