IT Business Analyst

Functions / Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and documentation related products and systems of Payable.

• Act as a subject matter expert on the products, providing technical guidance to varying audiences (e.g. business users, QA, POS vendors, management).

• Collaborate with partners, internal departments, and company leadership to design, develop, and implement the app and related other products and concepts.

• Identify and create high-level solution designs, consisting of project specifications and requirements,

• project scope and objectives based on an analysis/assessment of user needs.

• Responsible for the Business Requirements Gathering process prior to the initiation of projects in order to define project deliverables and goals.

• Research industry trends and best practices in order to stay aware of technological changes in the payment industry.

• Provide ongoing performance assessments and mentorship to individual business analysts

Requirements

· Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a relevant discipline.

· Must have 1-3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or equivalent experience in applications development,

· preferably in the payment/banking/retail industry.

· Prior software testing experience and coding experience is a plus.

· Candidates should have a familiarity with POS Products/Mobile payment process or be willing to learn these at a fast pace.

· Experience with mobile payments, POS systems is definite advantage.

· Must be technologically savvy, demonstrating the ability to easily adapt to new and unfamiliar technologies, software, and systems.

· Must have the ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines and goals.
