Job Overview

Lead Cloud Engineer – Azure

Job role:

• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using Bicep/Terraform to automate Azure resource provisioning and management. (Bicep is preferred)
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash/ PowerShell).
• Familiarity with containerization concepts and experience working with container registries, preferably Azure Container Registry.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in Azure Cloud.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, services, and best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployment and testing.
• Optimize GitHub Actions workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability, ensuring fast feedback loops and smooth deployments.
• Provision and manage GitHub Runners to execute CI/CD jobs efficiently, ensuring scalability and resource utilization.
• Document GitHub Actions workflows, best practices, and guidelines for team members to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Should be flexible in working during US hours

Area of expertise:

• 5 + years of experience as an Azure cloud engineer including; Cloud infrastructure automation and deployment on Azure, leveraging DevOps tooling, and utilizing GitHub Actions for efficient CI/CD pipelines.
