We are looking for a Manager – Learning and Development (L&D) to assist the staff in managing their Learning & Development needs throughout the employee lifecycle. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with the Leadership Team, to understand the training & development requirements of Swivel Group & Swivel Tech and convert those needs into training solutions. In this role, the job holder should be passionate about helping people to learn and grow, whilst possessing excellent communication skills and exposure to managing structured L&D functions.

 

Requirements

• Prepare high-level L&D strategy and detailed processes for Group L&D function.
• Understand the business requirements and implement L&D strategy for the respective Business Units.
• Create and execute learning strategies and programs to cater to the requirements.
• Carry out Training Needs Assessments in consultation with Heads of the Departments and evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
• Implement various learning methods companywide. (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training, depending on the business requirements.
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
• Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts.

 

Personal Profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in managing L&D function in a similar capacity.
• Experience in project management and budgeting.
• Familiarity in handling Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning platforms and other L&D practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
