To ensure that Nestle Infant Nutrition products follow company policy and strategy while remaining in compliance with all applicable FDA regulations. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Ensure that products are in compliance with local regulations with respect to product labelling and design including release norms and ingredient usage 
•Ensure that all nutrition and recipe product claims and marketing materials are following local regulations and are appropriately substantiated and documented                
•Review all label artwork, consumer communications, website copy and other communications for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
•Responds to inquiries regarding product composition and compliance from consumers, sales, and export
•Provides Regulatory guidance in development of new claims. Partner cross functionally with Marketing and Product development to proactively identify and create opportunities for innovative product claims and positioning            
•Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to Project Teams from concept to launch, specifically regarding product design, ingredient approvals, marketing claims, and FDA notification timelines
•Identifies and evaluates potential regulatory risks and communicates risk and potential mitigation steps to Sr Director Regulatory. Advises on product variances (exception release) and compliance criteria             
•Participate in the review of change control documentation, prepare recommendations and secure team review. Help manage FDA audit of infant formula compliant management  

Qualification

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

•Bachelor’s degree required; MS/PHD preferred
•5+ years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs
•Detail oriented and collaborates well with others
