The Role

Responsible for plan, apply and manage Quality assurance and Quality control of Software projects by using the QA and testing methodologies to ensure the expected standardization and to ensure that the system meets its design specifications and other requirements.

The Job

• Lead teams working on Quality, Development Engineering and Engineering Operations, and ensure quality goals and performance measurements are met.
• Leads the Line of Business (LOB) Quality team to identify and implement projects to improve the Customer Experience, reduce customer incidents and call rates.
• Drives continuous improvements in the quality of systems, peripherals and software, as experienced by customers and leads the development and implementation of quality engineering standards and processes across businesses to improve business decisions.
• Direct the development and implementation of defined and specific standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products and supplied goods.
• Direct Program Quality efforts to ensure effective Quality estimates, planning and execution throughout the Software development life cycle
• Direct the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of CRM & Billing.
• Define the common framework for ISMS /ISO audits and customize according to specific needs of the CRM & Billing software development.
• Drive action and issue resolution during the entire product lifecycle, including production maintenance and patch releases.
• Drive lessons learned from issue resolution and customer feedback into the product development cycle.
• Coordinate the investments needed for Quality, manage the QA budget and create relevant IC papers to get QA investments approved.
• Responsible for career development/planning, retention, performance and carrier growth of team members and work towards building a high-quality and effective quality team through hiring, training, mentoring, goal setting and recognition.

The Person

• Possess a degree in IT or related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled in leadership and management, communication and Agile practices.
• Experience in analysing, learning and researching and initiating action.
