ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER/SOFTWARE ENGINEER – PHP

Our Company is a full-service digitally led Software agency that offers a complete suite of cloud services and enterprise solutions to New Zealand and Australia.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as an ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER/SOFTWARE ENGINEER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications
• Serve as the technical expert on development projects and Drive the full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
• Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
• Drive software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
• Consult with the end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
• Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability is maintained

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Competent (3+ years) experience in a similar capacity
• Experience with PHP Frameworks: Laravel and Codeigniter framework experience with application layer technologies and API Integrations (XML, JSON, and REST)
• Competent with OOP, MySQL , and relational database concepts.
• Experience with CICD
• Able to perform code reviews to ensure the code meets the acceptance criteria.
• Full-stack experience. Frontend using Javascript and CSS along with frameworks (Angular JS, jQuery, NodeJS, Vue.JS)
• Hands in experience Vue.JS and React would be a definite advantage
