Why your role matters

Reporting to Lecturer Dr (Elizabeth) Emma Palmer this Postdoctoral Fellow role will contribute towards the research effort of UNSW, and empower the successful applicant to develop their research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects as part of the RArEST (Rare Disease Awareness, Education, Support and Training) program.

RArEST is a 3-year Department of Health-funded program aimed at supporting the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and their families with rare diseases, improving rare disease health professional education and training, and exploring opportunities to instigate meaningful health system change.  It is a groundbreaking program aimed at improving outcomes for the 2 million Australians with rare diseases and aligns with the National Strategic Action Plan for Rare Diseases. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for the design and implementation of the evaluation of the RArEST grant.

Who you are

You have a PhD in implementation science, evaluation, education, health services research, behavioural science research, biomedical science or a related field and/or relevant work experience.
