The Job

• Implementation of the product roadmap/portfolio for the business in a timely manner with superior quality & Best suited user journeys
• Advise the BU head on the best product construct/portfolio considering multiple factors such as business objectives, consumer behavior, analytics & insights, global telecommunication technology & digitization trends, internal system capabilities & market competitor aggression ensuring best customer experience
• Business ownership of the technical platforms / systems related to the Business unit
• Own the Implementation and maintenance of the product catalogue for the business unit
• Collaborate with closely with Group Technology, IT and charging systems, Product and Service Innovation, Enterprise Solutions and PLA teams in new Product and service development
• Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders
• Resolve customer experience gaps & corrective product improvements

The Person

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical relevant field (e.g., Engineering, computer science)
• 5+ years of product management experience in the telecom industry
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred:

• Professional qualifications in Business, Product or Marketing ( CIM or CIMA etc)
• Knowledge & Qualifications on Analytics & related skills
• Experience in product management in the Sri Lankan market
• Knowledge of the Sri Lankan telecom industry
