What Does A Product Manager Do? 7 Day To Day Roles & Tasks

 

The Job

  • You are required to provide the product support to Head of Fintech Platform in achieving targets, formulating business strategies, product development and stakeholder management.
  • You are responsible for end-to-end product operations of the eMoney Platform. Responsible for providing inputs to the Head of Fintech Platforms on the product and implementation of business strategy for fintech products of the organization by ensuring the compliance standards with regulatory bodies.
  • Closely coordinate all internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of product roadmap including third party development engagements to ensure timely delivery and quality of third-party digital products that connect to platform maintenance and security within the platform.
  • Responsible for providing inputs to the Head of Fintech Platform on the product and implementation of business strategy for fintech products of the organization by ensuring the compliance standards with regulatory bodies.
  • Closely coordinate all internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of product roadmap including third party development engagements to ensure timely delivery and quality of third-party digital products that connect to platform maintenance and security within the platform.
  • Support to drive the achievement of Fintech Platform targets across consumer segments and product categories while adhering to defined quality standards.
  • Cross functional relationships with product, technology, marketing, design, operations, and analytics teams to bring features and solutions to market and grow business opportunities. Work closely with agile teams (Fintech) of Engineers, UX/UI Designer, marketer, data analyst, content strategist and business head.
  • Monitor customers/users with a keen eye towards understanding consumers, their pain areas and their behavior on the site and mobile application.
  • Prepare management reports and update related activities as and when required to offer necessary guidelines and recommendations to the management for decision making purposes.
  • Work with user experience and consumer service teams to ensure a hassle-free, seamless experience for customers in availing Fintech Platform products.
  • Collaborate with the IT teams to ensure resolution is smooth and dependencies are reduced.
  • Attend to critical CX complaints and coordinate with relevant Stakeholder.

The Person

  • Graduate in Finance/ Economics/ Engineering/equivalent professional qualification.
  • Understanding of Digital Fintech products’ development process
  • Strong conceptualization skills
  • Ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in banking/ digital banking sector, with some leadership experience in a fast-paced and complex business setting (FS/ Fintech preferable)
  • Expertise in handling consumer loan products for a bank/ Fintech organization
