Project Manager – Power Generator Installation
Job Role
We are looking for a young, competent, and committed individual to play a dynamic role and lead our Generator Installation Division as a Project Manager –Power Generator Installation. The Project Manager –Power Generator Installation is responsible for the successful delivery of a project in terms of scope, timeline, budget, customer satisfaction . He will be responsible for the entire operation of the Power Generator installation division which comprises large scale, complex or multiple small scale installation projects.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver on-time, in-budget projects – Execute projects within the intended scope, timeframe, and budget.
• Communicate with clients – Drive contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship.
• Manage resources – Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project.
• Develop project plans – Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost.
• Track and communicate progress – Measure performance for presentation to clients and internal leadership.
• Managing the Project Engineers and Technical Personnel
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree, HND, HNDE, ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Certification of PMP/ACP would be a definite advantage.
• Minimum 05 Year’s working experience as an Assistant Project Manager in a Diesel Power Generators or Construction field with exposure to design electrical systems OR similar capacity in Project Management Environment.
• Effective negotiation skills and customer relationship management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Sinhala including interpersonal, facilitation and presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft and AutoCAD will be definite advantage.
• Travel to installation sites to attend project meetings, perform start-up, integration, and training services.
• Good relations with consultants/contractors and customers would be advantageous.
