Quality Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- Maintain an automated test suite in accordance with data processing logic updates.
- Sketch out ideas for data quality and reliability enhancements.
- Review data related to production failures and attend to them with relevant fixes.
- Write automation python scripts and implement quality checks.
- Design and install software databases.
- Conduct complex data analysis and create test reports.
- Work closely with development teams and business users to understand the data and requirements.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with programming script languages, including python and Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud service providers.
- Knowledge of API and back-end testing.
- Strong knowledge of Agile software testing and software engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge.
- Testing and Agile related certifications would be an added advantage.
