Research Assistant I in the Department of Pathology and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research Jobs at THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG in Hong Kong

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in biological/medical sciences or a related discipline, preferably with at least 1 year’s work experience in tertiary institutions.  They should be hard-working, organized, responsible and self-initiated. They should have good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.  Experience in molecular/cell biology (e.g. Western blotting, real-time PCR, cloning and flow cytometry) and tissue culture in relation to cancer research is highly preferred.  The appointee will participate in research projects on molecular biology of liver cancer in the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research led by Professor Irene Oi Lin Ng.
