The Centre for Research and Development in Learning (CRADLE) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

 

The Centre for Research and Development in Learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (CRADLE@NTU) seeks applicants with a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from University of good standing for a Research Assistant Position.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions to identify and project collaborators.
  • Conduct literature reviews and preparing research progress reports
  • Day to day coordination of funded projects.
  • Preparation of ethics documents to institutional review boards.
  • Participant recruitment.
  • Data collection using psychological and neuroimaging techniques, such as cognitive testing, MRI and fNIRS
  • Perform research-related administrative work, e.g. purchase of material/equipment for research
  • To manage day to day operations and meticulous record keeping of the research project.
  • Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security.
  • To carry any other duties as required by Principal Investigator

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from University of good standing.
  • Experience with cognitive assessment with children and neuroimaging techniques such as: fMRI and/or functional near-infrared spectroscopy is preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with a good command of the English language to perform literature reviews, prepare research progress reports and create visual infographics for presentations
  • Able to work independently
  • Good project coordination and administration skills, including data management and storage.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines.
  • Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.
