Research Assistant, Quantum Networks
Job Description
We offer research openings to candidates who are interested in working in cutting-edge research environment and learning how to build quantum technologies. You will work alongside the team to perform day-to-day operations of the lab, carry out various experiments, and contribute to the development of key experimental apparatus. Through this, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about quantum circuits, integrated optics and their supporting technologies. This experience will provide a great foundation for you to continue your scientific journey either as a PhD candidate or member of the booming quantum computing industry.
ABOUT THE GROUP
Qove Laboratory is led by Assistant Professor Steven Touzard and located at the National University of Singapore. The lab is funded by the prestigious NRF Fellowship. Our group works on a large range of quantum technologies, with currently an emphasis on remotely entangling superconducting qubits with telecom photons to form long-range quantum networks.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science
- Strong hands-on skills
Applicants should have a strong interest in quantum technologies. Ideally you have some experience working on superconducting circuits, spin defects in solid-state, integrated optics or quantum optics experiments.
