About the Centre for Population Health Sciences
The mission of the Centre of Population Health Sciences is to transform the delivery of health education, and challenge the conventional methods of prevention, healthcare delivery, treatments, and diagnostics. We aim to drive innovations that seek to transform health care at various levels – from policy and health systems to accessible, affordable and high-quality care – to improve the health of the population. The most pressing challenges in population health, such as the dramatic increase of chronic conditions, require a multidisciplinary approach. Our active areas of research include digital health, digital education, and health services and outcomes research.
We are looking for Master degree graduates to join us as digital health app developer, preferably with some skills in developing or assisting in the creation and management of apps’ client and backend side. The primary focus will be working with our multidisciplinary team on envisioning digital health solutions and with the external vendors in delivering these solutions according to a predefined specification.

Job Description:
Participate in the development of digital health software including client side and server side components.
Work with external vendors in delivering digital health apps according to the predefined specifications.
Manage and configure cloud instance and app store accounts.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Requirements:
Masters degree.
Good programming skills and aptitude.
Familiarity with JavaScript.
Familiarity with server side technologies (for example Node.js).
Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop.
Understanding of relational database management systems.
Understanding of chatbots and AI/ML is a plus.
Understanding of cloud deployment and cloud services is a plus.
Experience with using and embedding chatbots as part of software solutions is a plus.
Experience with client interaction is a plus.
There will be a 6 – 12 months Industry Attachment in Cognitiveclouds Software Pte Ltd.
