Job Description

We are looking for a Research Engineer who is experienced in research innovation and translation.

The selected candidate is expected to:

• Create consortium of industry partners with EDIC staff and students to tackle challenges and problem statements
• Guide students and EDIC staff in scoping projects with industry partners
• Identify industry partners that can license prototypes developed by EDIC staff and students for commercialization
• Work with team of engineers in preparing presentations to industry partners
• Identify grant opportunities for the consortium members to obtain more resources for prototyping and testing

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Broad knowledge of different industries
• Experience with managing partner relationships
• Experience with startup ecosystem and funding programmes
• Good technical writing and presentation skills
• Independent and goal oriented
• Open to fixed-term contract
