Job Overview

The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Research Fellow will be responsible for developing new machine learning-based techniques for insider threat detection. This includes:

• Conducting research on the methods and application of artificial intelligence techniques to build effective insider threat detection models with limited data.
• Conducting research on the robustness enhancement of insider threat detection machine learning models.
• Conducting research on the interpretation enhancement of insider threat detection machine learning models.
• Writing high-quality research papers based on research results.

Job Requirements: 

• PhD degree in Computer Science or other related areas.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability in at least one of cyber security, computer systems, machine learning and deep learning.
• Familiarity with deep learning adversarial attack and defense, model interpretation.
• A strong research track record as evidenced by publications in leading journals or conferences.
• Excellent communication and writing skills
