Research Fellow (MMW Transceiver and PLL Designer)

A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Integrated Circuits and Systems, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of  MMW IC/MMIC and related design work. The roles of this position include:

• Development of MMW Transceiver, PLL and Testing

• Responsible for PCB fabrication, Receiver design and relevant work

• Work with other researchers to accomplish research goals and key performance indicators as team lead and designer

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field

• 1-year research experience in related area

• Relevant research experience in Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) is a must, especially RF Transceiver for mmW applications

• Interest in research in RFIC

• Expertise in energy harvester design

• Expertise in CMOS circuit design, with prior tapeout experience in mmW Transciever circuit is necessary

• Knowledge in interfacing circuit design for power extraction

• Experiences in structural health monitoring and low power sensors related projects are highly preferred

• Publication track record is an advantage

• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python

• Ability to use Cadence simulator

• Proficiency in English
