Pearson is looking for an Oracle ERP Techno-Functional person to work on our global Oracle EBS platform. In this role, you will be part of a team of resources across the globe and partner with business customers, vendors, and other technical teams supporting Financials, Supply Chain Operations.

Job Description

  • Provide Technical leadership and support for Oracle R12.2 Order Management, Shipping, Pricing, Service Contracts, Customers, Inventory, Costing, AR, WIP, EDI, and Approval Management

  • Develop Custom Extensions, Interfaces, UI (Forms, OAF), reports in an Oracle R12.2 EBS applications environment with 12g database
  • Partner with business stakeholders, customers, vendors to execute all phases of the project lifecycle (Requirements, Analysis, design, Implementation, testing and deployment)
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams for problem analysis, design, development
  • Build automations to simplify user experience and to minimize recurring manual works
  • Engage and work with vendors when needed to get resolutions for product bugs
  • Ensure proper documentation of functional and technical solutions
  • Partner with cross functional teams to prioritize tasks and deliveries
  • Support project Implementations, upgrades, Patch Analysis, Automation
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills and ability to manage high pressure situations
  • Research current and emerging technologies, bring forward changes as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Oracle ERP experience in a global organization

  • Experience with Oracle development tools: SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Forms and Reports, JDeveloper, XML Publisher, and Workflow Builder
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules like Order Management (OM), Shipping (WSH), Inventory (INV), Service Contracts (OKS), Pricing (QP), Customers (HZ), eCommerce Gateway, AME, and supply chain modules
  • Experience working with Middleware teams (AWS, Informatica)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Unix and understanding of JAVA, OA framework, XML, JSON
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Open Interfaces and API’s, EDI
