Job Responsibilities

Participate in Sprint planning and provide reasonable estimates for planning and execution of Quality Engineering activities.
Work hand in hand with the development teams to understand technical limitations and boundaries.
Plan, create, manage test scenarios, test cases, and test steps.
Test execution and bug reporting.
Validate and reproduce user-reported bugs.
Review and validate test scenarios, test cases and test steps
Review and validate test automation scripts.
Work closely with the Test Automation team to support them in their automation activities.
Follow define quality engineering standards and guidelines.
Perform ad-hoc test executions as needed.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in a global software organization.
Prior experience in Test Case Writing, Test Planning, and Issue Reporting
Strong knowledge in software testing processes, tools, and technologies.
Good working knowledge in SQL/NoSQL.
Attention to detail and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Knowledge and experience in UI automation and API Testing will be an added advantage.
Prior experience using JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, Postman, Zephyr will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) & interpersonal skills.
