The Role

As an automation QA, your primary responsibility is to create an automated test suite to verify the quality of the application on a daily basis. You will have the senior QA role in a SCRUM team ,which consists of two developers and a product owner from the Netherlands. It is your job to manually determine the quality of the new application, and automate the most important features.

Responsibilities:

• Manually create and execute the testcases and regression suite.
• Manually update the regression suite.
• Extend the test automation framework with the most important features
• Analyze test run results from the automation suite on daily basis (running on Jenkins)
• Fix/update broken/outdated automation scenarios
• Communicate with developers in Sri Lanka and product owner in Holland to improve
• the testability of the project
• Communicate with the product owner to improve the usability of the application
• Add newly found bugs to tracking system
• Provide a weekly report on project quality and on issues and updates in test suite
