Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack + PHP, Careers At Lanka Software Foundation, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We’re looking for experienced and passionate software engineers who want to drive education and reform initiatives using open-source technology.

We’re looking for:

A self-motivated multi-tasker. You must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Skills:

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Highly proficient in Cake PHP, Laravel, Javascript, CSS & HTML.
• Able to build REST APIs in PHP.
• Experience in profiling and troubleshooting PHP applications.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Grafana & Superset, MySQL workbench and VS Code, is an advantage.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Able and willing to learn new programming frameworks.
• Creative and quick problem-solver; strong research, analysis & project management skills.
• Experience with Github & open source best practices; contributions to open source projects are an advantage. Also, Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
