Senior Software Engineer

Were looking for a dynamic individual to augment the solutions team at the AXP practice in Axiata Digital Labs.

Responsibilities and Scope

• Produce clean, standard-compliant code according to specifications
• Assist with development, effort estimation and solutioning.
• Create and provision software components, proofs of concept for client-specific use-cases.
• Identify solution patterns and apply the most effective alternative to satisfy business requirements.
• Take part in client communications to bridge the gap between the business and technical parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of prior experience as Software Engineer, Software Developer or equivalent role.
• Ability to write code primarily in Java (Spring Boot and Play Framework), and ReactJS for front-end.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and algorithmic concepts.
• Good Understanding of relational databases and caching methods.
• Good Understanding of event driving programming.

Good to Have

• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Exposure to Google Cloud technologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD methodologies.
• Exposure to Kong and Hashi Corp Vault.
• Prior working experience in an Agile development environment.
