Roles/ Responsibilities

High proficiency level in DB2/400 database. Provide L2 and L3 application support.
Manage and resolve incident tickets within the specified SLAs.
As part of small tactical changes, undertake analysis, code development & testing including test approach, implementation approach planning & production deployment.
Will be required to provide on-call support on Rota for end of day batch runs. Understanding and knowledge of AS/400 software version control, configuration and deployment/release standards and tools. Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation.
To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) or new developments based on business or client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements.
To provide technical guidance to junior developers.
