Senior Specialist, IT Service Delivery

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the implementation of new projects
- Provide recommendation in functional, technical operational decision for delivery of projects
- Support the architecture, design and integration of computing systems and infrastructure components
- Support the IT infrastructure and operation functions of network, systems, database and administration
- Responsible for provision of updated client system hardware and software
- Responsible for onsite IT problem trouble shooting within the campus
- Manage and keep track of the quality of all ongoing IT change requests
- Manage the change releases such that the risks are avoided and disruptions to business are minimized
- Participate, monitor, control and deliver in all IT projects initiatives
- Ensure and maintain up-to-date documentation of all IT systems
- Evaluation, selection and management of vendors, business partners and solutions providers
- Manage vendor services – inclusive of proposal drafting, contract negotiation, service evaluation and contract management
- Ensure IT project deliverables and work quality are met according to standards
- Assist in the planning and management of yearly budget.
- Manage suppliers, perform procurement according to the client’s procurement processes and policy
- Management of specialized software licenses, renewals, and the license server
- Staff management and mentoring
- Supporting AV facilities and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime for all the teaching facilities in the school
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Computer Science/Information Technology; OR
- Diploma in computer related discipline with more than 10 years of relevant working experience,
- Min 5 years of experience in system management supporting infrastructure operations for large-scale systems across multiple hardware and software platforms
- Skilled in architecture, system and network engineering
- Experience in managing vendors and multi-sourcing relationships
- Self-driven and possess the drive to continuously seek out the improvements in all areas of IT work
- Strong in teamwork and leadership
- Good project management and negotiation skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills
