About the job

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer – Platforms who has a passion for technology and a great team player. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support for technically high complex issues of MOQdigital and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to fellow system engineers and work with the business to build strong ties between the teams and customers.
• Take the lead role in resolving technically complex Datacentre. Platforms & Cloud-related incidents.
• Take ownership and solve cases escalated across all customers.
• Build and maintain client relationships by providing smart technical solutions.
• Adhere to ITIL processes such as Change Management. Incident Management, Problem Management, and Major Incident.
• Prepare Post Incident Review documentation for Major Incidents.
• Assist customer-facing queries, technical reporting, or client interactions.
• Develop system checks and affiliated reports at initial transition and the quality assurance of those system checks & reports.
• Develop patching schedules during the initial transition of new clients.

Required Background and Skills Set:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience working as an L3 platforms and cloud engineer or Equivalent industry knowledge (4 years’ experience post MCSE if possible).
• At least one vendor certification such as MCSE.
• Technologies will include and not limited to CommVault Backup, NetApp Storage, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Barracuda mail gateway, Active Directory & Group Policy, MS PowerShell, DNS
• Certification in CommVault or any other backups solution, MS Windows and/or Office 365 certification.
• Exposure in Cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS will be an added advantage
• Automation experience using technologies such as PowerShell and other scripting tools
• The role requires to work for Australian work hours.
