Senior UI/UX Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and software engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, analytics and different stakeholders to achieve a shared vision.
• Illustrate design ideas using flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Data driven design – plan and conduct user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Produce high-quality designs, mock-ups and layouts for responsive websites, landing pages, newsletters, mobile applications and other digital interfaces.
• Stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Multimedia, Graphic/Web Design, User Experience or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in Mobile App and Web UI/UX design, preferably working on a large-scale digital projects or equivalent experience in a digital agency, media company, advertising agency.
• A portfolio of previous design work. Preferably with a description of his/her role in the project, how the project was conducted, the challenges faced, how those challenges were overcome and the learnings.
• UX skills with the ability to create & annotate user experiences/ wireframes/prototypes.
• Passionate in identifying new trends, technologies and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with stakeholders/clients.
• Ability to take creative direction and produce highly engaging designs that show a strong attention to details.
• Digital design, layout and typography skills with strong, clean visuals.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Able to manage multiple projects & tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, UXPin, Adobe XD, Figma or Framer.
• Technical languages and frameworks, such as: HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, HighchartsJS, PHP, .Net, WordPress, SQL.
• Ability to communicate through the entire design/development stack – from IT infrastructure through coding & integration technologies in a responsive design environment.
• Experience with Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Agile work environment.
• Experience in eCommerce or the telecommunications industry.
• Experience in the full development life cycle of mobile applications.
• Exposure to Design Systems such as Material Design and Atomic Design.
