Project Overview:
We are looking for a Shop Floor Technology Usage Consultant and Trainer for 4-6 months.
Business Context: In manufacturing sites across India, the roll out of automations and technologies across manufacturing and packing has increased many folds. There is a need to upgrade Skills of Shop floor employees to adapt these technologies and operate these technologies. It is decided to adopt AR/ VR Technologies to train Shop floor employees. The benefits of this project will enable to increase productivity of employees across manufacturing sites and upskill employees for future fit roles in manufacturing sites. We have decided to Pilot AR/ VR model in Sumerpur which can be rolled out to different sites.
Scope of Work:
Study the operations of one packing line Cascade Understand the SOP and troubleshooting requirements Understand the Skills required to operate the Packing line Understand skill gap of operator’s basis above by interaction. Interact with Vendor and explain SOP procedures Review the training module developed by Vendor and improvise to suit for operator understanding. Implement AR/VR training module for group of people give feedback on any improvements Roll out the module for Scale up.
Expected business Impact:
- Successful development of Training module inline to Shop floor requirements
- 20% increase in Skill score of employees after AR / VR training
